This was a lovely facewash! I enjoyed that there were so many hydrating ingredients. My skin is very oily so generally I would be warry but the hydration aspect was perfect. My skin was rejuvenated without being greasy. The consistency was similar to that of a cream which was new to me because I expected some sort of suds. However, it was able to remove my makeup and general dirt and grime very well.
As a 2023 CertClean Judge I had an opportunity to test Cleansing Lotion & Make up Remover by Beautitionary. This 2 in 1 cleaning lotion & makeup remover comes in a glass jar with a pump dispenser. The glass jar is refillable and contains 8 oz. of product. Pump works nicely and dispenses just the right amount of the product. It has a white, creamy texture that is just right—not too thin or thick. The cleansing lotion is very gentle on the skin and leaves my skin super soft after the use. It removes most of my face makeup however, I still have to use another oil based cleanser to completely remove my eye makeup. If you don't wear a full face of makeup like I do this might be a cleanser for you. Another thing to keep in mind is that this product has a very strong scent of marshmallow root extract which lingers on for a while after the use. This product has some great qualities, such being 100% natural, vegan, gluten-free, and alcohol-free.The label is water soluble and Beautitionary does not use UV on their labels or use plastic labels. All of these wonderful things are excellent for the environment and I applaud the brand for that.
