A Tour of Europe’s Clean Beauty Scene: 13 Brands to Know

From established independents to newer makers, these European brands are part of the clean beauty conversation

Exploring clean beauty across Europe can feel deceptively complex. The region spans dozens of markets, languages, and regulatory frameworks, yet only a fraction of brands tend to appear in broader clean beauty conversations. For readers looking beyond familiar names, discovery often feels fragmented, with little context about which brands are actively engaging on an international level.

This round-up brings focus to that landscape.

Here, you’ll find 13 clean beauty brands based across Europe, gathered in one place to make exploration more intentional. Rather than attempting to represent the entire region, this list highlights a small group of brands that chose to step into a shared, global program—offering a clearer signal of participation and visibility across borders.

These 13 Europe-based brands all participated in the Clean Beauty Awards, meaning they submitted their products to be used and evaluated by independent judges over a multi-month period. Participation reflects a willingness to engage with a structured process and contribute to ongoing clean beauty discussions beyond local markets.

Europe’s clean beauty ecosystem includes long-established independents, newer makers, and tightly focused teams working within highly specific regions. This list doesn’t aim to define the continent’s beauty landscape. Instead, it offers a grounded entry point for readers curious about how a select group of European brands are showing up within the wider clean beauty space.
