“I began formulating the Beauty Balm because I couldn’t find a moisturizer that truly performed in Colorado’s dry, high-altitude climate. My customers shared similar complaints with me...that it was difficult to find a natural moisturizers that really worked. My goal was to create a vitamin C–rich formula that delivered visible results without the irritation that traditional forms of vitamin C often cause.

I wanted something deeply nourishing that would melt into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. I chose ascorbyl glucoside—a gentler, water-stable form of vitamin C—as the foundation to provide all the brightening and firming benefits without sensitivity. From there, I focused on barrier-repairing plant-based oils that would hydrate and protect skin all day.

The result was a balm that restored my own skin’s natural moisture and gave a nice glow to my skin. It quickly became a customer favorite for those struggling with dryness and sensitivity.”
