This mask wins hands down for best packaging! This gorgeous gem-like mask looks amazing sitting on my vanity, and one that I don't want to put away when I'm done using it. The texture of this mud mask is just as beautiful. I never thought I would say mud was beautiful, but here I am. Application was easy and I appreciate the fact this came with a spatula to apply it with. It spread nicely and felt great on my face. Scent wise, I really didn't notice too much. This left my face looking fantastic. My skin was brighter, softer, and hydrated. My overall complexion looked more even and my pores appeared smaller. This covered all of the benefits I look for in a mask.

This mask is amazing!! Really, It's one of the best clay masks that are hydrated and do not dry the skin. Even though I have issues with the huge plastic package, the mask itself is great. The texture is rich and thick and can be a pill out by dry fingers when it is "dry". I wrote "dry" because it's not dry like an average clay mask that drys the skin, this mask is dry differently, it's more flexible, so it does not cause wrinkles, and it makes your skin hydrated, glowy, and plump.

I had two clay masks to review: this one and the Founder's formula, and after trying each separately I ended up having to do a 'face-off' with them to really compare them (1/2 of one on once side of my face, 1/2 of the other on the other side). This one goes on well, is lovely and smooth. They provide a spatula which is nice, but I still ended up using my fingers to spread it on. I loved that it didn't 'tighten up' like other clay masks I've used. It was easy to remove after 20 minutes too, with a wet cloth. Some are a nightmare, but this one was not. My face felt great, even hours later - clear and smooth. Overall a great product. One criticism: the packaging is gorgeous, but a bit wasteful. What am I going to do do with this lovely jeweled plastic container when I'm finished with it? I doubt I can recycle it.
