I have thick 4C kinky hair that is hard to tame and this stood up to the test. This is very moisturizing and made my hair very easy to comb even after I washed it out. However, I did not like that I had to wait for a while for it to moisturize my hair. I also had to use this multiple times to get it to get my hair used to it and the scent is not a good one. I wish it was more of a floral scent or scent-free.
