I really wanted to like this, but the base notes did not let me. I like the opening scent, very creamy flowery, with a little bit of sweetness. But that opening fades to give way to a highly spicy like and tingling scent that is not pleasing and lingers.

I recently had the pleasure of discovering @esasnyc through judging the Clean Beauty Award. I was sent Iris Milk as one of the fragrances. ESAS is foundered by Seda Bilginer and Amanda Sichon. Both worked in the fragrance industry for 25+ years before quitting. With ESAS they hope to revolutionize how fragrances are made. Iris Milk is one of the rarest botanical perfumes the House makes due to the rareness and diificulty obtaining the ingredients. The scent is described as a velvety, floral-creamy natural perfume that blends powdery iris and lilac with vanilla and milk for a soft, unique scent you can wear every day Key notes: • Iris Root (Orris) • Lilac • Vanilla • Mimosa Thoughts: A dreamy, subtle floral scent that floats on your skin. It's also very clean smelling, almost crisp and clear - like a soft tinkle from a bell on a spring day. It dries down very creamy vanila with a soft edge from the florals. It's such an unusual scent. The founders of Esas have a way of talking about their products that make you feel excited about them even before you have actually encountered the products themselves. It could be their enthusiasm and passion. Or it might be their transparency and openess about their creation process. Overall, ESAS is a brand I'm keeping my eye on and am looking forward to trying more from them.
