And beyond the exfoliant itself, the base matters. Oil-heavy formulas may cushion friction beautifully — or leave occlusive residue. Gel-based formulas may rinse clean — but risk drying if not balanced with humectants or emollients.

The packaging is appealing and has the ingredients and the directions on it clearly explained. The brand is women owned, the products are eco friendly, cruelty free and without harsh chemicals. It’s made in small batches and the makers poured their hearts and souls in it. The ingredients are: lemongrass, sugar cane,coconut oil, sweet almond oil,jojoba oil, vitamins, peppermint and essential oils. Used it as the directions suggested, with small amount, I scrubbed my legs and arms under the shower. It felt good on my skin, especially on my feet, I had a lot of dry skin. "The product is called Jasmine & Charcoal Sugar Scrub. The product is in a glass jar, which makes it super heavy. But we can see the interesting grey color in it. When I opened the jar, the scent right away hit my nostrils, and I really liked it. It’s a mixture of jasmine and charcoal, bit heavy but the jasmine makes it smoother. The texture is very fine, and the exfoliating particles are just the right size. Gently exfoliate, doesn’t rip the skin and doesn’t dries it out.
