This product was inspired by the many conversations with women in our community who had reached or were entering menopause. The menopause has the potential to be a highly disruptive time – hormonal changes can bring a host of symptoms such as depression, low mood, anxiety and stress. Insomnia, fatigue and loss of libido can all have both physical and psychological causes and not many talk about it openly. We wanted to break the taboo around this natural phase wanted to give the Ellie Bianca Women the right tool to age gracefully. A power packed, performance driven serum formulated with antioxidant-rich actives that help firm and hydrate skin, this serum is carefully crafted with a selection of exotic oils that work synergistically to deliver moisture, manage fine lines, smooth and soften. Containing antioxidant rich marula, anti-inflammatory moringa and squalane to impart a supple dewiness to the skin, our serum is made for our Ellie Bianca Women! Squalane: Our squalane is sourced from amaranthus, a sustainable alternative to olive or marine based squalane. A natural emollient, squalane imparts suppleness to the skin without an unpleasant or greasy feel. Moringa: Moringa is a dry oil, making it easily absorbed and a beautiful choice for all complexions. Grown in Africa, it contains over 98 micronutrients and potent anti-inflammatory benefits. Moringa is high in oleic acid and helps delay visible signs of aging resulting in a firm, dewy complexion. Marula: A fruit widely eaten throughout Africa, Marula is rich in omega 9, vitamins C + E and a number of skin loving antioxidants. Unfortunately, this serum gave me an allergic reaction which means I had to stop all products I was using and take an allergy tablet to correct my skin. I am not sure what ingredient triggered my sensitivity, I did find the consistency way too oily and didn't feel clean. I had high hopes but my skin is now ruined for at least a week. Too much product comes out of the pump at one time. The packaging and bottle is nice and informative.
Unlike the other serums I tried, this one could easily work as a stand along oil infused moisturizer. If you are a fan of Moringa, Squalane, and Marula you will love this serum! The ingredients work together and overall its a lovely experience.
