Wild Pandanus Exfoliating Enzyme Cleansing Grains are a gentle but very effective way to cleanse and exfoliate in one step, leaving skin smooth and soft yet leaving the skin barrier completely intact. Australian Pandanus is a member of the Bromeliad family. Bromelian enzymes dissolve dead skin debris creating ultra smooth, refined, clear, radiant skin. (Enzymes dissolve dead skin cells that are ready to shed. They do not remove living cells in the way that Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) are designed to do). We include Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) in our formula as it stimulates the synthesis of natural ceramides in skin. B3 can help strengthen the skin barrier and improve its ability to tolerate external aggressors (such as pollen, chemicals, artificial fragrances and harsh weather).
